Youth Ministry
We seek to engage the youth in every aspect of church life, teaching them to live holy and draw others to Christ. We sponsor several events throughout the year in which our young people can get involved.
Youth Sunday Night
Come join the Solid Rock Youth every 4th Sunday night in each month for service carried out entirely by the young people. Service starts at 8:00 PM
Harvest Festival
Come join us outside for a fun time in the Lord. We provide free food, drinks, candy, games, and live gospel entertainment for the whole family. We hold this event every fall, so look on our Calendar for the next upcoming Harvest Festival. This is an event you do not want to miss.
Youth Christmas Play
Come join us in December for a theatrical production put on by our youth department. These plays are made to inspire and influence the youth in a positive and spiritual way. Look on our Calendar for the next upcoming play.
Solid Rock Voices of Praise (S.R.V.O.P)
This youth choir, directed by Sister Valerie Moore, Youth Coordinator, seeks to spread the love of Jesus Christ through music and song. S.R.V.O.P. provides a spiritual and positive atmosphere for the youth as an alternative to other worldly activities.
Music Ministry
We are blessed with anointed musicians at our church. They play skillfully to minister to the soul. We also have a male quartet called the Solid Rock Crusaders and a youth ensemble called Faithful Few who have been singing gospel music both at our church and abroad.

Food Pantry
Through our Food Pantry, we distribute food to needy families in our community weekly. God has blessed us to reach over 300 families and 1100 individuals per year through this ministry. If your family is in need of food, visit the Solid Rock Food Pantry every Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Dr. Clarence V. Cuffee Community Center located at 2019 Windy Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23324.
